The rights and source to HandsFree 2 has been sold to a 3rd party.
However, we negotiated the ability to provide future updates to resolve issues and ensure compatibility with future macOS releases.
We have many other apps for macOS to download and try out.
If you are a current customer, this short FAQ may be helpful to answer some of the common questions:
Q: Can I continue to use my licensed copy of HandsFree 2?
A: Yes, current users will not be affected in any way.
Q: Can I still retrieve my license key if I loose it?
A: Yes, you can use our self-serve feature (at the top under "Recover License"). Or if you're unable to find it through it, you can always email us and we'll help you out.
Q: Can you still reset my license if necessary?
A: Yes, absolutely.
Q: Can I purchase a new license?
A: At this point, unfortunately, no.
Q: Will there be future updates?
A: The short answer is yes. We can continue to deliver updates with bug fixes and compatibility for new macOS releases.
We are actually going to be doing an update shortly with some improvements for common issues.
We are unable to add new features due to the licensing agreement we have with the company that purchased the rights.
Q: Which company purchased it?
A: For obvious reasons, we are unable to disclose this.
