Educational Discount

Tunabelly Software offers a flat 30% educational discount for all our apps.

However since TG Pro is on sale for 50% off at the moment, we're unable combine the two offers together. The good news is that with this type of discount, it's a great time to purchase a license. The discount is pre-applied on both the website and in-app.

If you have any other questions about our educational pricing, please feel free to contact us anytime.

TG Pro requires macOS 10.10.3 or newer. Compatible with Catalina and Big Sur.
One license is valid for up to 3 Macs for personal use. Business use requires one license per Mac.
No subscription required.
All updates to 2.x are free.

Extend the life of your Mac with TG Pro, whether it's an older iMac or a new 16-inch MacBookPro.

Quickly view CPU, GPU, logic board or hard drive temperatures, check battery health and the other hardware diagnostics. If it's getting hot, manually boost the fan speeds, or allow TG Pro to do it automatically to help keep the Mac cool and running fast. Get local or email notifications for temperature events along with full logging for further analysis.

It's designed with security in mind. TG Pro is notarized by Apple and uses the Hardened Runtime. It also has a separate secure service for fan control, only HTTPS/SSL connections and built-in support for the Internet Access Policy (when using Little Snitch). It is fully compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur, all the way back to 10.10 Yosemite.

TG Pro supports all Macs from 2008 up to the 2020 models, with specific support for multiple models including the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 15-inch MacBook Pro, 16-inch MacBook Pro, iMac Pro, Mac Pro, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Air and Mac mini.

Every Mac

TG Pro works on all Mac models, regardless if it's an older one from 2008 or a brand new one from 2020. It even works on Macs with the T2 security chip.

It knows what's available for each model so it can adapt to show more temperature sensors than any other app.

As a bonus, it even works with Hackintosh models by simply enabling a preference.

Mac Health

It's all available in TG Pro. In one window, view all internal temperatures, fans and hardware diagnostics.

It's the best way to easily check that all vital components inside your Mac are working properly. TG Pro will even tell you if the Mac shutdown because it overheated, or if the battery needs servicing.

Always On

TG Pro runs unobtrusively in the background using minimal resources.

Use the menubar icon to quickly view all internal temperatures and access fan controls.

Auto Fan Control

Use Auto Boost rules to decide how the fans should be boosted based on temperatures from any sensor or highest CPU.

These can even be used to completely override the system control of the fans for a custom fan curve. The perfect way to fix an iMac where the fans go full speed after a HD replacement.

Instant Cooling

Wish the fans kicked in sooner? Use Manual mode to instantly boost them to maximum speed to cool down your Mac right away.

Get informed about thermal and diagnostic events via the macOS Notification Center, emails or a CSV log file.

Mojave, Catalina & Big Sur

Dark or light mode, it doesn't mater - TG Pro looks great in macOS Mojave 10.14, Catalina 10.15 and now macOS 11 Big Sur.

In addition, on Catalina and above, it's notarized (scanned for malware) by Apple, and uses the Hardened Runtime to ensure it's the original from Tunabelly Software and hasn't been tampered with.

How to use TG Pro

App Features & Preferences

We've created an in-depth app tutorial for TG Pro that starts with what's available, then how to use each feature or preference. It's a great way to learn the difference between the fan control modes, how to setup email notifications, what each type of temperature sensor means, etc. We hope you enjoy it!

Remote Deployment

If you're an administrator for a group of Macs and would like to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't overheat or have hardware issues, learn how to remotely deploy TG Pro. Find out how to configure every single preference to your needs and do a silent install over the network.

People love TG Pro

We've put over 6 years of work into TG Pro, making it the premier app for temperature monitoring and fan control. People love it because it's constantly updated (see latest release notes) with fixes, improvements and new features. Plus we offer great support and always try our best to solve an issues or questions that arise.

Whether you're a beginner Mac user or an expert, TG Pro is accessible to all user levels.

TG Pro has an average of 4.6 stars on MacUpdate.

I don't think any app in the fan control and sensors market tops TG Pro. The way this app operates makes it so easy to fall in love with and use. MacUpdate Review
